Obituary: A Mass of Christian Burial for Frank J. Danielewicz, 77, one of the
founders of the South Wilson Volunteer Fire Company, will be offered at 10 a.m.
Saturday in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 1419 Falls St.
The Mass will follow prayers at 9:30 in Zajac Funeral Home, 319
24th St. Burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lewiston.
Danielewicz died Tuesday (July 19, 1994) in Lockport Memorial Hospital.
Born in Niagara Falls, he was a dairy and grain farmer in the Town of Cambria,
where he lived for 30 years.
Before that, he operated an auto service in Wilson for 21 years while living there.
He also worked for the Carborundum Co., Bell Aerospace and the Niagara Power
Danielewicz was a member of the Niagara Frontier Milk Producers Cooperative and a
former member of the Knights of Columbus Council
Surviving are his wife of 54 years, the former Stephania T.
Siejka; five daughters, Gwendolyne Hassinger of Lutz, Fla., Stephania Ohol and
Katherine Danielewicz, both of the Town of Cambria, Anne Kowalik of Lockport and
Mary Danielewicz of Land of Lakes, Fla.; two sons, Francis of the Town of Cambria
and Patrick of Lockport; three sisters, Bernice Henschel of Sanborn, Helen Stempien
and Jessie Zabkowski; three brothers, Chester and Flevie, both of Sanborn, and
Albert; 14 grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
