Need to find her parents. They are not John Danley and Nancy Dunnigan. They had another child born the same year as Martha and cannot be her parents. I find 4 Danley men in Surry and Orange Counties NC during the right time period, John Sr., John Jr., Thomas and James. John Sr. gave land to the Methodist Episcopal Church. This could be her grandfather, but I cannot determine who her parents could be. Most likely Thomas or James. Can you even eliminate one of them?
