Peter Dannor, a son of Michael and Eve Dannor, bought land in Frederick County in 1756. Peter was nationalized at Annapolis in 1760 and his father Michael was nationalized in 1763. Michael Dannor died between 1772 and 1777; he and Eve had children: John, Michael jr, Andrew, Peter, and Elizabeth (Storm).
Peter Dannor made his will in 1768. From the will, Peter Dannor's family consisted of wife Barbary and children: Margaret, Mary, David, Catharine, Jacob, Susannah, and Esther.
David Dannor was born in Frederick County, Maryland, in 1759. David served in the Revolutionary War. He married after returning from the war and his daugh ter Mary was born in 1782.
About 1792, David and his family left Frederick County and moved to West moreland County, Pennslyvania. Mary Dannor married George Zenor in 1798 in West moreland County. Then about 1801 the family moved onto Jefferson County, Kentucky.
About 1804 David moved across the Ohio Rived from Jefferson County into Harrison County, Indiana. David remained in Harrison County until he was 73 when he moved north to Clay County, Indiana. His daughter Mary Dannor Zenor together with other Zenor families came north to Clay County before 1830.
