WARREN – A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, Feb. 27, 2012, at 10 a.m. at St. James Church, with the Rev. James P. Walker officiating for Faust R. D’Annunzio, 86, who passed away Friday, Feb. 24, 2012, at his residence.
He was born Dec. 7, 1925, in Warren, Ohio the son of Eugene and Angeline DiChristofaro D’Annunzio.
Faust retired in 1987 from Thomas Steel Corp. as a receiving operator in the slitting department after 44 years. He was a member of St. James Church and the K of C No. 4484. In his youth, he played Fast Pitch Softball for several teams as a catcher and had been on several All Star Teams. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, playing cards and his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Lucille D’Andrea D’Annunzio, whom he married Oct. 24, 1959; three children, Eugene “Gene” D’Annunzio and Raymond D’Annunzio, both of Warren and Diane DiCesare of Cortland, Ohio; two grandchildren, Alexa and Angela DiCesare; a sister, Jeanette Callard of Girard, Ohio; and a brother-in-law, James Coates of Niles, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Velma Coates; and a brother-in-law, Joseph Callard.
Calling hours will be Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012, from 2 to 5 p.m. and Monday, Feb. 27, 2012, from 9 to 9:30 a.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel in Warren, OH.
Burial will be at All Souls Cemetery, Cortland, OH.
