First of all, I found out from my cousin today that the Danos name in Louisiana is of Greek origin. Her father, my uncle was told that by his mother and grandmother.
Now for the puzzle. My grandmother - My grandmother was Florence Marie Comeaux, I just found out that her mother who was a Danos was married to a LeBlanc, so my grandmother was born Florence Marie Leblanc. My grandmother married George Edward Jeanmard.
My g grandmother's first husband was in the shipping business. He died at sea.
Her second husband was a Comeaux and he adopted my grandmother. My grandmother's half sisters were Maude and Jeanne, her half brother was William. If anyone out there has any of this information in their family tree I would appreciate any help that you can give me.
