I am researching my husband's family. His GreatGrandmother's maiden name was Dans. She was born in Illinios in abt 1860? Lived in Peoria for many years raising family. She married a John O'Keefe and one of the children was husbands Grandmother Katie O'Keefe. I have sent for her death cert so will probably get some more info from it.
