Re: Klaric family

I'm not sure if we have anyone in Philadelphia. My great-grandfather was Anton Klaric, who came from Vis or Split in 1902 via Ellis Island. Although he was educated at a seminary and a university in Europe, he worked as a steelworker at Bethlehem Steel where his knowledge of languages proved to be very valuable to the bosses in communication with the workers from all of the Eastern European countries. He died in 1922. I'll check the scant records that I have (one of my cousins went back to the old country years ago and got some information) to see if we have anyone of the same names as you mention.

Kevin Frank Danyi, Esq.
Saucon Valley, Pennsylvania, USA
am the great great son of Mate Klaric (born 1848 in Klarici, Drivenik, Croatia- d.1917). One of his sons was Stanko, the brother of my grandfather Dragutin, (born 1887 Rijeka). He died in a serbian prisonner-camp around 1914. He had three children with his wife (I don´t know her name): Micelina, Bozica and a boy called Mate. His wife went after the death of her first husband to her brother to Philaderphia (U.S.). Do anybody has got information about this branch of my family. I would be pleased to establish contact. I hope I am not to forward in my intentions! Thank to everyone for his help.
agripper2000@yahoo.de

Zarno Abuaj Torma Hungary

Looking for relatives of Elizabeth Danyi, parents were Andrew Danyi and Mary Bodnar of Radvany Abauj Hungary. Andrew and Mary had other children- Julia and a male, possibly another Andrew. Elizabeth married in Ohio 1902 to Jossef Papp spelled Popp by Ellis Island official so he became Joseph Popp. I have some history since 1902 but not much before when he and Elizabeth lived in Hungary. Appreciate any info. SH
