My father was Vincent J. D'Aquila, he was the son of Ignazio (Natchez) D'Aquila whose parents were Vincenzo D'Aquila and Rosaria (Sara) Feraci. After Vincenzo migrated to the U.S. he and the family lived in New Orleans, LA and then moved to Fort Adams, Ms where they lived for many years. None of the family now lives in Fort Adams since it is practically a ghost Town. Some of the family do live in Woodville, Ms which is the county seat and about 20 miles from Ft. Adams. Natchez D'Aquila was born circa May 29, 1877 in Cefalu, Sicily and married Frances Musmeci in about 1901 in New Orleans, La. He died in Greenwood, MS on June 6 1971 and is buried in Hollywood Cemetery McComb, MS. He did have a son whose name was Philip (Buck) DaQuilla who had a daughter named Frances and 2 sons. They lived in McComb, Ms.
