I live in Essex, but was born in Louisiana, USA. My Maiden name was Darius. My Father claimed to be the illegitemate son of Mary Ledbetter of Texas and a Merchant Seaman. I have seen wine in the shops from a Vintners in Spain [or possibly France] labeled Darius. And don't forget about King Darius of Persia. The family sure gets around.

My name is Elius Darius my father is Mr Francis Darius from St Lucia. My greatgrand father were slave.

My grandfather was Paul Otto Darius born 1883 Magdeburg Germany. . He came to the UK in about 1903 and married my grandmother in 1904 the marriage Certificate gives his father as August Darius a Restaurant Keeper deceased. Paul Otto returned to Germany in about 1918 and died about 1948-50 in Berlin. Where do your family come from?

What nice to receive a message from a "foreign" DARIUS.

Your ancestors DARIUS, they came perhaps from Oedelem in Belgium ? If so, we are relatives !!!

May I ask you to give the names and events (born, died, marriage) of your ancestors in order to complete the DARIUS genealogy ? Allways date and place of the event, please.
