My Enoch was definitely born in Worcester as was his wife and several of this children. This has been documented by references in a Will of the father of his wife Sarah Haskew and also in the several Census returns during his life time.

The name Enoch seems to be a family name and one son and grandsons had that name.

I should be very interested to hear of a Halifax Darke. I think the family lived for a short time in somewhere like Todmorden!
