I am very interested to hear from anyone researching the Darkes or Haskews of Worcester, particularly in the 18th. and early 19th. Centuries.

My Great great grandfather Enoch was born there in 1798 and marries Sarah Haskew in 1818. Their first children were born there and baptised in Anglican Churches:James 1820, Enoch 1824. Enock and Ann Askew 1826, Emily Maria, 1828, Edwin James 1831 and Anne Sarah 1833.

In particular, being a musician I am keen to try to establish whether there is a link between myself and a famous London organist, Dr. Harold Edwin Darke (1888-1976)whose nonconformist forbears came from Worcester.
