This family can be elusive. Keep me in mind and I'll keep you family names in my file just in case. Terry

Have found out Thomas Benton Darragh Jr. married in Eagle, Alaska and moved to San Francisco, CA; therefore, you might check Alaska if that is possible. Judy

Darraghs, Darrahs, or Darraughs

I am searching for info on a Frederick Darragh [Fred Darragh].He was apparently born in England on April 19,1880. He was a Canadian Home Child as was his wife Grace Buchanan and they were married in Selby, Ontario in 1912/1913. Frederick Darragh shipped from Liverpool in either 1889 or 1891 on the ship SS Sarnia at the age of nine. I have gotten some info on him in the 1901 census when he lived in Hungerford Township, Hastings County East where he worked as ca farm laborer for Alex Weir and his wife Margaret both of which were near 50 years old at the turn of the century. Someone did report of a Fred Darragh who died in the late 1950's who had lived probably in Ottawa or the surrouding areas. Fred and Grace apparently separated and had one son named Frank Darragh in 1916 who is my relative also. If anyone has any info on these people I would be most happy to get some information. Grace Buchanan came over in 1907 from Glasgow onj the Ship Sicilain at the age of 11 with her sister Jane, Janet and brother John. She was a domestic at one time for a Pendleton Family and worked at Bakers Laundry and the Chilrens Aid Society in Ottawa where she put my Frank Darragh up for adoption dec. 13, 1918. Thanks for any and all help. Don
