I have recently started researching Nathan Dart. According to Benedicts in America, p.95, Polly, the 5th child of Abraham & Lydia (Hoyt)Benedict married a Nathan Dart. There are no dates, but it would have been after 1783.

On pg 163, Abraham's oldest son, John Thomas Benedict, my gggg grandfather, m. Betsey Dart 2/7/1795 daughter of Nathan Dart (her uncle???) of Boston Mass.

Abraham (d. 8/27/1845)and Lydia (d. abt.1812) died in New Lisbon, John Thomas (d.3/7/1845)near Dansville. Betsy (d. 2/5/1838) and according to a different source, she died in or near New Lisbon. Theses are all Otsego county locations. I have not found any cemetary listing for any of them.

Do you have any connections with your Nathan to Betsey? One family tree source says she was born in Wyoming (that is Wyoming Valley, PA) in 1777 the year before the massacre, but that source links her to Bolton, CT Darts and I do not believe at this time that is correct as I have found no evidence to back it up.I am just getting into the Boston/Dart search. Gennessee Co. intrigues me as my Bendedict line moved west towards the finger lakes.
