I am trying to locate any information on two Tubman Dashiell both of which lived in Somerset Maryland. The background I have is a follows:
Tubman Dashiell - August 17, 1763 Listed as in Somerset County, Maryland
Father George Dashiell B-August 28, 1743 Northampton, VA Mother Rose
Fisher B-1745 Northampton, VA M-August 06, 1760 Northampton, VA
Tubman Dashiell - B-August 07, 1791 Stepney Parish, Somerset, Maryland, USA
Father Robert Dashiell Mother Rebecca Stewart B-February 24, 1764
Stepney Parish, Somerset, Maryland M-June 14, 1789 Stepney Parish, Somerset, Maryland
Tubman shows up in Maryland and the 1810 Census in Tyrell County North Carolina. He has a high probability, based on a will, of being the initial Deshields in the upper NC area. We are trying to link him to a marriage to Nancy Alexander of Tyrell county that married a Dashiell/Deshield/Deshields.
