Rebeca M. Dashiell, 42, died Sunday, February 6, 2005, at her residence. The native of Cuba had lived in Glennville since 1999. She was formerly employed by Brent Walker Ford, and was involved with the Tattnall County Relay For Life and Cancer Society. She was a U.S. Army veteran.
She is survived by her husband, Walter T. Dashiell, Jr., of Glennville; one daughter, Katrina Marie Dashiell of Glennville; two sons, Jason Lamar Dashiell and Shane Thomas Dashiell, both of Glennville; her parents, Francisca A. Pino and Antonio Leon of Hialeah, Florida; three sisters: Cary Martinez of Miami and Julia Morales and Ana Leon, both of Hialeah, Florida; and two brothers, Jorge Leon of Coral Springs and Arturo Leon of Lexington Park, Maryland.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 9, at Cobb Funeral Home, Glennville chapel, with the Rev. Jerry Knight officiating. Burial was in Glennville Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers were Arturo Leon, Jorge Leon, Eugene Jernigan, Charles Graham, Dan Sommers, and Donnie Levant.
