Hello out there!
I'm trying to get over the dry spell I seem to be having. I have run across the following:
Elizabeth (Betsy) Dates (1812-1888) husband William Jewell, her parents were William Dates Jr (abt1777-1850) and Christina (Caster), her grandparents William Dates Sr. and Elizabeth (Merritt). Unfortunately, the only location I have is for Elizabeth (Betsy) which places her in Pennsylvaina when she marries William. If any of this information here sounds familiar contact me, I also remember my late mother saying the Dates name was changed at one point way, way, way back.
