Am still not certain of a connection but further on the Daub family - My ggrandmother, Barbara Daub born May 6, 1854, died June 23, 1909 in Ontario, dau. of George Daub and Mary Albrecht. Her father George was born circa 1812 in Rulfenrod, Hessen Darmstadt, Germany, died after 1891 in Ontario. His parents were John Daub and Catharine Schusler. John born Feb. 14, 1777 in Rulfenrod died Dec. 11, 1853 in Ontario. His wife Catharine born July 24, 1778 Rulfenrod died Dec. 28, 1857 in Ontario. They had 7 known children - George, Andreas, John, Eliza, Conrad, Catherine and Margaret. If you can piece anything together from this it would be great. Will let you know if I find out anything more.
