My gggrandfather was George Adam Friedrich Daub. He died in the 1840's, in Germany.
His wife was Margaret Barbara Engel. Margaret came to the USA in 1847, and settled
in or around Erie, Pa. She brought three sons with her: John, Christian, and Henry.

George Adam Daub was married to Katherin Ruf, and they had eight children: Carl, Katharine,
Johannes, Christine, Magdalen, George A. F., Johann, and Magarethe.

Margaret (Engel) Daub remarried to Gotlieb Friedman later changed to Freeman.
