WEARNE DAUBERMAN, SINKE IN HOLE WHILE WADING,

WEARNE MERVIN DAUBERMAN, AGE, 15,
SON OF MRS. BERTHA M. DAUBERMAN,
OF FAIRPOINT, BECAME THE SECOND DROWNING VICTIM OF THIS
SEASON YESTERDAY AFTERNOON WHEN HE SANK INTO A TEN- FOOT
HOLE WHILE WADIND AT" THE BEND" IN THE BALD EAGLE
CANAL, A HALF MILE FROM THE FLEMINGTON BRIDGE,
HE IS THE FOURTH PERSON TO DROWN AT THIS POINT IN RECENT
YEARS, RECORDS REVEAL.
UNABLE TO SWIM, IT IS SAID THE BOY ENTERED THE WATER
WITHOUT THE KNOWLEDGE OF HIS MOTHER AND THOUGHT HE
WAS WADING IN WAIST HIGH WATER WHEN HE SUDDENLY STEPPED INTO THE HOLE. NEARLY AN HOUR AFTER HIS BODY HAD DISAPEARED IT WAS RECOVERED AT 3:15 O'CLOK BY JOHN FETTERS, OF FLEMINGTON, AFTER A SUCCESSFUL DIVE INTO THE HOLE. BEFORE THAT GRAPPLING HOOKS HAD BEEN USED.
SEVERAL PERSONS ASSISTING IN THE RECOVERY USED A PULMOTOR AND ATRIFICIAL RESPIRATION FOR A TIME, BUT WITH NO RESULTS. CORONER W. J. SHOEMAKER, WHO HAD BEEN SUMMONED TO THE SCENE, DECLARED THE BOY DEAD,
A VICTIM OF ACCIDENTAL DROWNING, AFTER QUESTIONING THE YOUNGER BOYS WHO WERE WITH THE YOUTH WHEN HE DISAPPEARED IN THE DEEP WATER.
HE WAS ON HIS WAY HOME FROM THE TEACHERS COLLEGE TRAINING SCHOOL, WHERE HE IS ENROLLED IN THE SUMMER SESSION,
WHEN HE DECIDED TO WADE.

formerly of 360 E. Park Ave., Lock Haven,pa
died Friday, April 15, 2011
She was born Aug. 30, 1919 in Jersey Shore,
the daughter of the late John and Augusta Mae Hoover Jeirles.
She married Charles M. Dauberman
who preceded her in death.
She is survived by five daughters, Rose (Leo) Vuocolo of Lock Haven,
Donna (Tom) Heckel of Mill Hall,pa,
Ann (Cliff Calhoun) Webner of Mill Hall,pa,
Sandy (Larry) Wian of Mackeyville,
and Bonnie Cucinella of Charlotte, N.C.;
one son, Charles F. Dauberman of Gahanna, Ohio;
16 grandchildren,
and 27 great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband,
she was preceded in death by her eldest daughter, Darlene J. Caprio,
and a great-grandson, Sammy Casilio.
Funeral services were today, April 19, 2011,
at 11 a.m. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc.
, 231 High St., Flemington.
Friends were received
at the funeral home from 10 to 11 a.m.
today.

will be at the convenience of the family

Born in Lock Haven,pa, May 3, 1952,
she was a daughter of Morgan and Sarah Kinley Shade.

She was a nurse's aid with ARC of Centre County.

She was a member of the Castanea Fire Company Social Club.

She is survived by her husband, James E. Dauberman, who she married Feb. 14, 1969.

She is also survived by two sons, James M. Dauberman of Lock Haven and Justin E. Dauberman of Lock Haven,pa,
three daughters, Wendy M. Germello of Lock Haven, Torrie K. Morgret of Hughesville and Jodie L. Aldrich of Elimsport; four brothers, Steve Shade of Mill Hall, Dan Shade of Lock Haven, and Rick and Morgan Shade of Blanchard; two sisters, Lulubelle Kline of Mill Hall and Betty Shade of Blanchard; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011 at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home Inc., 231 High St., Flemington.

In Charles Adam Fisher's book Central PA Marriages 1700-1896 I found Theodore Dauberman of New Berlin PA married in October 1, 1883 Rebecca Spade of Snyder Co.

I just came across your inquiry about Lovina Dauberman. The following information is from information passed on to my by my uncle. This is from Dr. Charles A. Fisher dated 5/15/51. Lovina dob 1838, dod 1928. Married John Reichley dob 1840, dod 1935. It state she was the daughter of Christian Dauberman (third generation). "Christian Dauberman was born in what is now Snyder Co. Pa. on 3/13/1788, and was named for his parternal grandfather. He died on 12/27/1853. He married Anna Maria, daughter of Conrad Walter. She was born on 9/3/1796n and died on 3/13/1872. Bithe are buired at the Globe Mills Cemetery". Globe Mills is located about half way between Middleburg, Pa & Selinsgrove, Pa on route 522.

My grandfather was Glenn forrest Dauberman.I do not know much of anything.My mother took me away from my father when I was just 3 mouths old. Her father's name was Elmer Reno D.,his father was John.John had four sons,three daughters and no infant mortality.Her mother's name was Rheppard.Her grandmother died when her father was young.

I am a DeFrank, but I stem from the dauberman family tree. Actually the John Dauberman family tree. A while ago my relative's were posting listing's for information on our family and they found out quite a bit of information. I'm not sure everything that they found with there search, but I am interested in finding out who my family are and where they came from. My question is your friend in anyway connected to the John Dauberman family? If you go to the family tree section there is quite a bit of info. that will help you see my family line. We come from the lock's and Dauberman's. My Granfather was John Dauberman He married Mary Locke.
I do know that my relative stated that we stem from England and that several road's in the Aston township were named after our relative's. Pennel,&Dutton Mill Can she give me any information. My granfather was married before he married my granmother.

We are not sure of the town of her birth, but we are certain it was in the Juniata, Phillipsburg, Port Matilda, Johnstown, Altoona, Duboise, Pennsylvania area. She was born Etta Elizabeth Dauberman on 1/18/1917. I have researched the Dauberman surname and can only find records for John Dauberman. In reading your posting, I noticed the reference to a previous marriage of John Dauberman to an unknown person. Maybe that is a link to what I am looking for. Would you please help me?
