I will try to find out more about this. My Daugherty's went to Oklahoma to Indian Territory. Payne county mostly. I am doing research now on Roy Daugherty to find out how he may have been related to Andrew Jackson Daugherty. Andrew Jackson was on the way to Oklahoma from Texas with his wife Millie Pike. Millie was pregnant and died in childbirth in southern Oklahoma on the way there. Andrew never remarried and raised several children in the Cleveland/Drumwright/Cushing area of Payne county Oklahoma. My grandmother Ruth is the grand daughter of Andrew, daughter of Christopher Columbus on of Andrew J. Daugherty's sons.

I think all these Oklahoma Daugherty's of Indian Territory are connected especially in that specific area.
