It is possible that John and Hugh Daugherty were brothers. Although I have found written evidence that John was from Weaver's Old Station, near Mount Pleasant, I did an oral history interview with a great-uncle who told me that his Grandfather John Daugherty was "from Elizabeth." Moffet Maxwell was in his 90's at the time and was fairly alert.

Catherine Leasure (1812-1874) was the daughter of Abraham Leasure (1782-1839) and Barbara Lobingier (1787-1863). Catherine did have a brother John Leasure.

Abraham Leasure was the son of Abraham and Margaret Leasure. Barbara Lobingier was the daughter of Christopher Lobingier (1741-1798) and Elizabeth Mueller (1744-1815).
