I'm trying to find my connection. My Grandfather, Patrick Henry Daughton born either 1875 or 76 came over fron Kerry and worked the trains, in the switching station in Chicago and Springfield where my father James Edward Daughton Sr was born Febuary 16, 1912. His mother was adopted and of German descent named Blanche Hudson. They split and she married a cop in Sprinfield named Joe Botwanis.
Dad had a cousin named James in the family, I believe in Springfield or Chicago, so they called my Dad Ed, his middle name. His close cousin Joe Daughton and his wife Eileen raised several children near Oakland, Ca.
My Mom was Genevieve Helen Luttrell of Waverly and Auburn , Illinois. They married in Springfield July 1, 1939.
I am trying to figure how my Grandfather Patrick Henry Daughton fits into the family.
As my father passed on in 1969 and I never knew my Granddad who past July 6, 1939, tis all a mystery to me. If you see any connection, do tell!
Did one of the James,s have a son named Joe born in the 19 teens ?
I live in Hollywood since graduating college in San Diego in 72.
