I found a neat card among some papers and thought if anyone would be interested in a copy - I would be glad to send you one. It has a picture and underneath the picture it reads J.P. Daughton - Democratic Candidate for Congress, June 4, 1923. On the back it reads: Stands for the rights of the common people; for government of the people instead of government for "special interests" and "party bosses;" for clean politics. Am opposed to Ship Subsidy, Sales Tax, Wild Expansion of Federal Aid which raises our taxes; to the Esch-Cummins bill. Am a practical man, have never held office, believe practical people should be represented. Let us try voting for our own interest on June 4th. J.P. Daughton Grand River, Iowa. J.P was my grandfather's brother - so if any one would like a copy of this just drop me an email and I will send you one. email - twobrick@netins.net Thanks.
