Searching for any connection to the George W. Daugherty family and his wife Lucella of Moultrie, Ga. Geo. was born in 1844, Alabama and married Lucella of Miss. He served in the 20th Co. A Alabama Infantry during the Civil War and would have moved to Ms. after that time. He remained there until the late 1800's or early 1900 when he moved to Moultrie, Colquitt Co., Ga. along with a large family, including wife Lucella, children, Lucuis, Geo., Wm., Lilia, and Lucella, who married W. L. Dukes. Geo died in 1920 and Lucella in 1930. Son Lucius was in the lumber business in Valdosta and also possibly a Judge. Please respond with any info to jt33584@yahoo.com.
