There have been lots of posting on the Daughtry's. I would like to find something about them from Abraham Daughtry back. There are some that say his father was Samuel Daughtry and some say it was Benjamin Daughtry who was a brother to Joshua Daughter that married Lydia. ~ I'm from Major Holland "Fox" Daughtry line. There have been difference answers on some of the Daughtry and it is confusing as who is who. Is there any one out there who have the right answer and the proof? In the 1790 Federal Census & the 1800 Federal Census, there are a few answers. We all need to work together to get the right answer.
