Lucius Daugherty (Daughtry, Daughtrey) has been LOST from his family since November 21, 1913 (96 years; more than four generations). For more than twenty years, Lucius’ descendents have been trying to find their relatives (Lucius’ family). Lucius’ descendents are looking to find YOU so they can enjoy new relationships, fellowships and family reunions.

Ask your African-American relatives, family historians and any one sixty-five years or older if they have EVER heard about a brother, uncle or cousin who came up missing in 1913.

Here is a part of Lucius’ story. About 1905, our grandfather Lucius wandered into Elko, Grovania, Houston County, Georgia where, in 1908, he met and married our grandmother, Mamie Brown. They had three children together; Susie Kate Janie Bell, Dave Junior and Lucius Jr.

Our grandfather, Lucius Daugherty was murdered in Grovania on Nov 21, 1913. Mamie and her new husband never communicated with Lucius’ people.

Where did Lucius come from as he wandered into Houston County? Was OUR Lucius the same as YOUR Lucius who came up lost in 1913?
