Daniel (b. 1830, d. 1884) settled in Casco Wisconsin in the late 1850's. He came from Germany with his sister Monica (maried Anton Joerger) and brother Lorenz (Married a Salentine) Was drafted and served in the Union Army. His wife Angeline had at least eight children:
