Caroline/Carolina/Lina/Lena DAUL marrying Heinrich POLWORT

Trying to find data on the above DAUL. Have her DOB as 11-1-1852 in IL and death abt 1936. She married Heinrich/Henry J. Polwort on 3-6-1873 in Illinois and they had 8 children but have no data on Carolina/Lena's parents or siblings. Can anyone help?

DoD Identifies Army Casualty

The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Spc. Andrew P. Daul, 21, of Brighton, Mich., died Dec. 19 in Hit, Iraq, of injuries suffered then an improvised explosive device detonated near his Abrams tank during combat operations. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 37th Armored Regiment, 1st Brigade, 1st Armored Division, Friedberg, Germany.

Don I WAS WONDERING IF YOU ARE RELATED TO ADELAIDE BENZ. She was married to Frank Daul SR. She would be my gr grandmother on the Daul side. My dad's stepmother was Annie Daul a daughter of Frank Daul SR. My mothers grandmother was Theresa Daul who was a sister to Frank SR. also. So I am related to Frank SR on both sides of my Family. Don THERESIA DAUL married to JACOB JUNG. 1860 Census. They had 3 children (that I have records of) Caroline b1859 Maria Magdalena b Sept 29, 1861. Son Fred b 1871. I really don't have a whole lot of info about the JUNG Family. Fred Married to Agnes Mahlich about 1902. Agnes and Fred lived in Town of Day according to 1910 census then in Green Valley 1920 census. I have information on some of the Wisconsin Dauls and Wunschs that I can share.
I searched the Oberndorf films 30 years ago and must have missed Eva Daul's birth record. I have both her marriage dates but not her parents. I have info on Christian Wunsch, son Theodore Wunsch, son Franz Wunsch and some Dauls. I have a nice obit for Theodore Wunsch if you would like it. If you email me off list, I can sent you a scan.

I have done extensive research on the Daul's in neighboring Ebersteinburg, but I know that Maria Eva Daul was born in Oberndorf, Baden 12/24/1810. There is probably a connection between the Daul's from both cities (Christian Wunsch's son Theodore from Oberndorf later married Caroline Daul from Ebersteinburg), but I have not had the time to order the Oberndorf films from my Family History Center to find out if there are more connections between the families. I would be interested in anything you find out about them. I do have extensive information on Daul's in Baden-Baden and Ebersteinburg if you would like to email me: lenoirj@charter.net.

I am trying to find a birth place and parents for Eva Daul (1810-1869). She married Christian Wunsch (ca 1830) in Baden and had 2 sons,Theodore and Franz. She later she married Bernhard Sommer also in Baden and came to America in 1853 settling in Wisconsin.

I have a lot of information on the Benz-Daul families. My husband is Paulina Benz' great-grandson, Adelheid's sister. I have information on the Benz' in Ebersteinburg back to Andreas Benz (b. 1730s or 1740s?). My research on the Daul's in Ebersteinburg goes back to the 1690's, though I have not been able to make the complete connection with my line of the Daul's and that of Adelheid's husband, Francis'. Perhaps we could share information?

My great grandfather, John Daul,was born in Morschweiller, Alsace 27 May 1827 and died 11 Nov. 1897
He married Francisca Batt on 24 Aug. 1852 in Cheektowaga NY.
T hey had 14 children.

I am searching for information on Caroline Daul, she married Theodore Wunsch on June 19, 1858, in Luxemburg Wi.Caroline was born on Nov 4, 1835, and died on Dec 28, 1891. They lived in Luxemburg and had 11 children I have no information on her parents or where she was born.

John Daul is grandfather of Joseph HEIMNELSBACH.
Heimnelsbach is probably a misspelling or mistranslation of HIMMELSBACH. Joseph born 1867or 1868 lived with Eva and John Daul in 1880.

Also I'm interested to find out if Eva DAUL's maidenname is
HEINTZ.

Friedrich Daul b. 10 Feb 1840 in Germany d. 10 Oct 1922 in Chicago, m. probably in Germany, Sophia, b. 8 March 1836 in Germany d. 28 Jan 1923 in Chicago. They were my great grandparents and had a daughter Dora, who married George Sippel.
Friederich and Sophia lived on the south side of Chicago until their death, but they were buried in the St Johns Evangelical Lutheran Church cemetary near Tinley Park, Il. Anyone related? Bob.

I can add a death date for you of March 17, 1902 in Algiers. I'll ask my grandmother, Rita Smith Knox and my great aunt Catherine Smith Crawford if they remember any more from stories. She was their grandmother.
