Hey there; I was re-reading these postings and thought I'd jump back in. With the help of a local and distant relative here in Bangor, Dan Dauphinee, I've made my connection back to Jean Dauphinee in Lunenburg. Exciting stuff ! He and many others have said that David Dauphinee (Jean's brother) simply disappeared ... no one can seem to find a link to him. He may have moved west or simply died soon after or during the crossing. I would love to find out what happened to him. I'm now concentrating on my father's maternal side of the family; Annie Bohan, of Moose Mountain, New Brunswick.... the search goes on !
