We share more than the Dauzat's. Juneau is on my mother's side and Bordelon also on my father's side and Mayeux also. So looks like we may be able to help each other and also the Gaspard. But I have done little on all except the Dauzat's which is extensive and the Laborde.

As you mention if you are from Avoyelles we are related. It's just a little matter finding out how.

I live around Latanier and travel ofteeeeeeen to Marksville. Will be more than happy to work with you and when we have the answer's I would like to post them on the board so we can share the answer to your query.
