Hi,

Does anyone have any information on David Davault who was in Madison County Missouri in 1830 and 1840? Their is a marriage record for his daughter, Mary to Jacob Hoover. Very specifically says that she is his daughter. According to family tradition, she was a Davault, then married a Davault as her first husband, and then married Jacob. She had two children by the unknown first husband: Enoch and Andy. It appears that David was the son of Mathias Davault. Some researchers have Mathias' son David going to Alabama, but the estate record for Mathias, which was settled in Cape Girardeau County, Missouri, highly indicates that David was in Missouri. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
