Robert, or anyone else reading this message: Do you have knowledge of a Leonard Davenport, who had a daughter, Mary, who was a widow of a Dougherty, as as his widow married in 1817, possibly in or near New Foundland, NJ to John I. Smith. In 1818 John and his 2nd wife, Mary, migrated to Plain Twp., Franklin Co., OH. Mary(Davenport) Smith died 15 Nov. 1843, aged 75Y 7M 23D; buried the old Smith Burying Ground,(now Burnside), Plain Twp., Franklin Co, OH. I am desc. from the Francisco's whom I believe are of the same area in N. J. Found one dau. of Peter Francisco/Sisco (c1757-1842) who married in 1812, Pequannock, Morris Co., NJ but cannot find Peter's ancestors. I think the Davenport's and Francisco's may have come from the same area. Any help appreciated.
