My ggrandfather was John W. Davenport (1843-1928). I believe his middle name may have been Wesley. The only documentation I have of this is from his death certificate and it is not completely legible. I do not know if John had any siblings but it is possible that if he did, one of them may have named a child after him (your John Wesley). Although my Davenport family was situated in NJ, one of John's children, William was born in PA according to the 1900 census. His remaining children were Florence, Blanche, George (my grandfather), and Charles. I'm just mentioning their names in case you have any connections that might give us a link.

Finding the parents of John is my brick wall. According to his death certificate his parents were Aron Davenport and Laura Myers.
