My name is Lisa Mitchell. My Grandfather's name is Clearence Joe Davenport. I know his father's name was Robert L. Davenport and he married Hazel Smith. And I think Robert's father's name was P.E. Davenport. I have a lot of very old pics and some articles. I do have an article from a Hattisburg newspaper which states that they were well known in Port Gibson before moving to Hattisburg. I do have some names on pics and maybe we can help each other and know a little about them.

I think Robert's had an Uncle name William or Willie Davenport because I have a lot of pics and postcards from him. Willie Davenport I think moved to Montana, but not sure. I know he had two daughters Hattie who I think is the oldest and the other maybe Bessie. I also have a John Davenport. I am not sure if he is a brother of Roberts or Willie. I have a pic of an Addie French, May Montegomery, Margarrite, Ira Byrd and I am not sure who they are. I also have a pic with just the name Aunt Vic. I have a picture of four girls on a horse who are Hattie (Davenport), Bessie (Davenport), Birdie May, Minnie. I also have a pic of Kaleff (I think that's the spelling.
