I have been looking for a Stephen Davenport that went west in 1846-47 and then just kinda disappeared. He is rumured to be in Salt Lake in 1846-47. He had taken a job as a mule skinner and was driving a wagon for pioneers. He may have been affiliated with the Donner Party or with Brigham youngs wagon train that arrived in the Salt lake valley on July 244, 1947. Do you have any information on this stephen davenport. Did he returnto the east and start having a family after 1850 or so. ANy information you can send would be appreciated.
