My great great great grandfther is William Harrison Daves, brother of your great grandfather, John Loving Daves. Do you have any information on this family? I am particularly interested in our family's relationship to Robert E. Lee. I recently learned during an interview with my great aunts that my Great Great Grandmother, Arthusa Daves, once sat in his lap. He was living two counties away from Palo Pinto County where our family lived during the years preceding the Civil War. I will be thrilled to find the link to Lee but I also would appreciate any other information that you may have.
