Still trying to find info on James Lovin/Loving Daves, b. in Al, in 1819, son of Richard?? Daves and Rebeka Ann Vermillion. The family went to MS., Pontotoc co., abt 1830. The family was on the 1850 census of MS, with Rebeka Daves as Head of Household. They went to Palo Pinto co., Tx.(Peter's Colony) abt 1856-7. He m. Margaret Ann Carter, d/o, John Wesley Carter. They had 14 children.
