I hope you don't get this twice, says it wasn't sent.
I wanted to clarify who was in the 1881 census at 31 Richmond Road Bristol, as i wrote it a bit vaguely !
Victor Samuel aged 15 , a scholar, is here with sisters Eliza and Rosalinda ( who are both governesses) and another brother Hiram Davey who is a farmer.
Also just found the Davey family in 1860 census ( can't read address) and the family includes oldest child Francis born 1850 as well ( victor is not born yet).
I haven't found any more about Victor yet, but a little on his siblings
Rosalinda Davey married Theodore Stagg in 1885, they had 3 children: Francis Victor Stagg, Rosalinda Violet Stagg and Percy Greenfield Stagg. The family is scattered in 1901 census and Rosalinda and 12 year old Violet are at 63 City Road Bristol, Rosalinda is a dressmaker, and at 67 City Road her sister Eliza Davey is a teacher of music and drawing.
In 1908 the Staggs emigrate to Canada, did they go with Victor ??
Hiram John Davey marries Mary Ball in 1882 and is recorded in the city as living at 146 Brynland Avenue with his wife and her parents, he is a retired Dairyman and died in 1925
I am still looking for Victor Samuel, but piecing together his siblings could well help !
