Does anyone know the origins of the Davey family in Sligo Co Ireland? Given that the majority of Davey’s outside of Sligo are from England, I’m assuming that some early Davey’s migrated there from England, but have no evidence either way.

I can trace my family back to a Philip Davey born in the early 1800 / late 1700.
