Is anyone out there researching or familiar with this Ben Davidson? He is listed on the 1790 Burke Co., NC census as having 2 white males 16 or older, 1 white male under 16, and 9 white females. I believe he is the same one listed on the 1800 Buncombe Co., NC census with 1 white male 10-16, 1 white male >45, 1 white female <10, 5 white females 16-26, 1 white female >45, and 2 slaves.I need to know if this Ben had a son named John, and if so, what happened to him. Thanks.
