I have a John Davidson b.09/27/1797 that I haven't been able to go any further on. I believe that he was born in Ky but I'm not sure. He married Mary Lawrence from Ky, his first children were born in Ohio and later children were born in Indiana. From there he brought his family to Oregon. Does he seem to match any in your family?
