I'm tracking an Angeline PHELPS that marries John DAVIDSON in 1844...their marriage certificate clearly shows his middle initial is "M."

I've now located a Marriage record of 25 FEB 1845 between William BROOKS and Mary Jane DAVIDSON, her father is listed as John M. Davidson.

Now, unless he was married prior to Angeline as early as 1830, making his daughter 15 at her wedding...I'm wondering if this is John M. Davidson Senior.

Anyways, if you know anything about Mary Jane DAVIDSON who marries William BROOKS in 1845 in Bullitt Co., KY I'd love to hear from you!
