From what I've learned, there were only 3 branches of the Davie family. William & Mary Ashbourne's branch, William Richardson Davie's branch, who I believed for the most part migrated south, and then the northeastern branch, who stayed in that area, and at one time it was not believed many of them were still around. It's pretty evident the first 2 branches mentioned above are still with us from all these posts.
