today i received a birth record of my ggrandfather edwin james davies. he was born 7-13-1846 at 10 court cardigan(cardegan)street, parish of aston. he was born to an elizabeth davies. i don't want to possibly offend anyone,and this probably is not your elizabeth davies, but there was no father listed. the copy just had a line drawn thru the column that would have listed father's name and surname. the person informing the registrar was named h. e. wooden, of the same address. if by any chance this could be your elizabeth any information you could give to me would be appreciated.
