I am looking for information on Mr. J. Davies of Bundaberg, Queensland, Australia. He was born around 1847 and in 1916 had 10 children, 30 grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. A. Way in Northam, New Zealand.

At 14 years of age he served in the American Civil War, being wounded and losing a finger.

Any help with information on him, his family, military service death and place of burial would be greatly appreciated. jamesmgray@bigpond.com
