DAVIES-PROFFITT

ARMSTRONG - Mr. and Mrs. Richard DAVIES of Armstrong announce the marriage of their daughter, RaNae, to Mr. James PROFFITT, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee PROFFITT of Glenview.
The marriage vows were performed at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 15, in Champaign.
Jerry Walters, classmate of the groom, served as best man and Miss LeeAnn DAVIES, sister of the bride, was maid of honor.
Mr. PROFFITT earned his B.S. degree at Southern [sic, Southern Illinois] University, served two years in the Navy and is presently attending law school at the University of Illinois.
The bride is employed at the Solo Cup Co., Urbana, as a code clerk.
The couple will make their home in Urbana.
A buffett dinner followed the ceremony at the home of the bride's parents.
