There is a John and Bridget Davin in the 1880 census in Palatine, NY, with children Delia and Michael born in PA and son Thomas born in NY. There is also a Mary Davin living 2 houses away, who may well be the oldest daughter, she was born in Ireland and came to the US in 1862 I believe. Mary Davin is my wives ancestor. I had Bridget's maiden name as Connelly. Do you think this is the same family? But I don't know where in Ireland they came from.
