I am a great-great granddaughter of James Harvey Davis, son of Witherly Davis. James Harvey Davis and Mary Davis had a son Wilbur Davis, among other children. Wilbur Davis married Sarah Jane Welch. Wilbur Davis and Sarah had 3 children, one of which was my grandmother Florence Davis. Florence Davis was born in Painesville, Lake County, Ohio.

I have limited information on James Harvey Davis and wife Mary Davis (some death, property and court records), and more information on their children, and of course even more information on my grandmother Florence Davis.

This has been a difficult line for me to follow due to no living family having any knowledge of Wilbur Davis or his family, and of course because of the common surname.
