My grandfather was Hedley Benjamin Davy. Hedley B. Davy married Daisy Hurrell, who immigrated to Canada from Kent, England, and settled in Halifax, Nova Scotia. They had four daughters: Marion, Grace, Marguerite Adele (my mother) and Mary.

My grandfather did tell the story of Sir Humphry Davy...and of his parents Robert and Grace Millett.
