I am the grandaughter of William Edward Davy.
We have been told that his family were related to Sir Humphrey Davy, but we are unable to verify this and if so how we are related. Willaim was born in 3/17/1879 in Iowa to Houton Davy and Mary Smith. We have no direct information connecting Houton with Sir Humpries family, only word of mounth.

We would appreciate any information and if possible we will provide what we know.
